Her role as a teacher is to help each child discover and believe that he/she IS a gift, and has been empowered by God with specific gifts to offer in service of others for building up the Kingdom (1 Cor. 12:4-31). Collaborating with and supporting the parents of her students in their role as primary educators is essential. Miss Julie loves music, singing in the St. Peter & St. Paul church choir, and playing drums and acoustic guitar in worship settings. She delights in being a loving "auntie" to her many godchildren, nieces and nephews, of both family ties and friends-as-family-ties. The passage from John 15:9 that says, "As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Now remain in my love" is one of the scriptures closest to her heart.
