School Rules

No jumping/running over planters in front of classrooms

Church property belongs to the church. Anything in the kitchen, classrooms, sanctuary that is not clearly marked BHA belongs to the church.

Maintain a safe and clean campus; students, parents, teachers, and staff must clean up after yourself.

We are a nut-free campus.

We are a student-cell-phone-free campus.

Students grades 6th and lower, cell phones MUST stay home.

Students grades 7th and above, cell phones are ONLY allowed for in-class learning with permission of the teacher. Otherwise the phone MUST be put away.

No earphones (any kind) allowed.

Other technology will be permitted for homework and study needs at the reserved TECH-TABLE only.

For students in grades Preschool thru 2nd, parents must drop-off and pick-up at the classroom. Teachers will not allow siblings to pick up.

Use playground balls for their intended use (i.e. soccer balls for kicking, basketballs for bouncing, etc.). Keep ball kicking, tossing, and throwing at waits high or below.

Recess/play equipment is to remain outside. Do not hit balls against buildings or classrooms.

If a ball goes into the parking lot, with supervision a student may retrieve it.

Take turns with all equipment.

Hitting, kicking, wrestling, rough-housing and play fighting and unsafe play are not allowed.

After each recess gather equipment and store in the assigned area.

Students are monitored during school hours only, between 9:00am-2:00pm. For primary grades, if your child is not enrolled in a class during this time, parent supervision is required.

Students must adhere to BHA's dress code.
