The content and assignments in each class period (see times above) are geared toward the chosen grade level.  However, high school students of any grade may enroll in either class, modifications can be made at parent/student request.​
 
GOVERNMENT (fall semester): Students will discover the blessings and symbols we hold dear as Americans! Focusing on the U.S. Constitution, the government it established, and the rights and privileges it guarantees, this semester-long curriculum also explores federalism, state and local governments, and the opportunities and responsibilities of citizens.

ECONOMICS (spring semester): Students will learn about the concept that has made our country's economic system the envy of the world---free enterprise capitalism in a free market economy. Emphasizing work, wealth, and stewardship from a biblical perspective, this one-semester course covers the differences between market and command economies; the proper roles of individual consumers, producers, and the government; and more.

Because this course meets the requirements for high school credits, homework is required in order to maintain a full and complete understanding of the material presented. The classes are designed to give a full class curriculum with instruction on Tuesday, however parents are still the main teacher for their student. All assignments will be given with a weekly “homework” schedule to help keep your student on track. It is best to pace your student throughout the week to help them retain the most information. Each class is a full course and does not need additional assignments to be completed but parental guidance and follow-up is necessary.
 
Grading will be based on accumulated point totals which may be earned through reading, homework, projects,  testing and quizzes. In order to receive grades for these complete courses, students must complete all the required work for each course subject.  Although grades are given for these assignments and  this class, they are not official transcripts.
