We realize that the reasons for homeschooling are as varied as each child. We realize that the choice to homeschool is often accompanied by sacrifice, usually of personal time or of a second income. We also realize that those who choose to home school are committed to providing the best possible education for their children. Connections was created by local homeschooling parents to assist other local parents in their own homeschooling efforts. The “Connection” is just that- a connection. We provide a centralized location for weekly classes offered by qualified tutors. We host periodic seminars for students and parents. We maintain a resource list of area tutors and opportunities available to you. And we pray for our families. Our goal is to help each of you meet your goal of successfully homeschooling your children. If you have any questions, please email us at svhconnections@gmail.com.

Statement of Faith

We believe in the infallible scriptures as the final authority for life and faith. We believe in one God, existing in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in Jesus, the incarnate God, whose life, death, burial, and resurrection atone for human sins and alienation from God. We believe that anyone who puts their faith in Him enters into God’s family on the basis of His grace and receives the indwelling Holy Spirit. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the believer and the immanent return of Jesus Christ.

Our History

In 2005, Connections was developed by the people of Sierra Vista Baptist Church. The hearts of the congregation went out to the homeschooling families in the church and in the communtiy. Today, Connections is a strong community of home educators and students meeting at The Flipside Church in Rancho Cucamonga.
